P0100
Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor Circuit
Detailed Description
The MAF sensor signal voltage is outside the range expected by the ECM, which cannot determine the actual amount of air entering the engine.
Possible Causes
MAF sensor dirty or damaged
MAF sensor power or ground poor
Sensor signal wire open or shorted
Severe air intake system leak
ECM fault.
Solutions & Repair Guide
First clean the MAF sensor using a dedicated cleaner; Check the sensor connector and wiring harness; Inspect intake piping for cracks or disconnections; Measure MAF sensor signal output voltage (typically 0.5-1.2V at idle); Replace the MAF sensor if necessary.
